The book covers works in various media such as graffiti, painting, drawing, photography, film, sculpture and installation, focusing on the creative artistic expressions and explorations in downtown New York in the 1980s. The exhibition brings together works by many famous artists in downtown New York such as Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Cindy Sherman, as well as works by other relatively unknown art pioneers, many of which are exhibited in China for the first time.
