The Trans-Siberian Railway is the longest railway in the world, stretching from Moscow to Vladivostok. It's like a thread, stringing together the scattered towns along its route like pearls.
Young readers can follow the travelers in the book for 6 days, watching the train cross the Volga River, pass through the Ural Mountains, skirt Lake Baikal, and rush across the vast plains... In addition to world-famous places, this book also shows readers the lives of people in some small station towns.
Children can learn about the history of the stops, their architecture, attractions, climate, food, and more, as well as suggestions on what to try and what souvenirs to buy. There are also tips on how to arrange your life on the train and stories about the stops.
