This book is a philosophical work in prose poetry by German philosopher Nietzsche (1844-1900). Nietzsche pretended to be the prophet Zoroastrian Zarathustra to promote his "superman philosophy" and "will to power" ideas. The book is divided into four parts, consisting of a preface and some speeches by Zarathustra. In the book, Nietzsche denied the old value system based on faith and obedience, and affirmed the new value system based on life and human will. He believed that the former was based on God, and the latter was based on the earth. Therefore, Nietzsche declared that God was dead, traditional philosophy, religion and morality were no longer appropriate, and it was up to the "superman" to save people from the old culture.
