Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
"Human Ci Talks" is the representative work of Wang Guowei, a master of modern Chinese studies. In the form of traditional Ci talks, it integrates Western philosophy, literature and aesthetics to provide a wonderful and unique commentary on traditional Chinese literature. The book is centered on the "realm theory", with incisive arguments and a self-contained system. It is a classic work in Chinese classical literary criticism.
This book contains 64 edited and revised manuscripts of Wang Guowei's "Human Ci Talks" and 50 unpublished manuscripts, and provides appropriate annotations and translations of each, as well as Mr. Ye Jiaying's interpretation of Wang Guowei's "Human Ci Talks", allowing readers to easily enter the palace of Wang Guowei's literary and aesthetic thoughts. At the same time, the text is also accompanied by poems, ci tunes, Wang Guowei's "Human Ci" selection, Wang Guowei's life, and a brief biography of the ci poet. The well-known painter Lin Xi was invited to draw the cover of this book.
