【Editor's recommendation】
※The 2019 Tokyo University entrance speech "What awaits you is a society where even hard work will not be rewarded" caused a heated discussion, making Chizuko Ueno a star scholar and writer. This book is her highly anticipated new work after the publication of "Misogyny" and "Patriarchy and Capitalism" in China.
※This book is also Chizuko Ueno's first popular feminist book for ordinary readers. Unlike her more difficult academic works, this book is humorous and plain, easy to understand, and popularizes the connotation and history of feminism to the public in a relaxed conversational form, as well as how to think about daily work, marriage, and parenting issues from a feminist perspective.
※The content of this book touches on the core issues that modern women are concerned about, revealing the many injustices and difficulties that women still face in today's society. Starting from her own experience, Chizuko Ueno places feminism in the context of her personal life, telling us that feminism is not only about women, but also about everyone's daily life.
※This book is supplemented by comics by the popular Japanese cartoonist Nagako Tanabe, allowing readers to receive a baptism of feminism in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

【Content Introduction】
What is feminism? Why do we need feminism? How to think with feminism?
Focusing on the above issues, the famous Japanese scholar Chizuko Ueno and the well-known cartoonist Nagako Tanabe started a feminism class from scratch. They used humorous language and vivid cartoons to trace the development of feminism, talk about mother-daughter relationships, sex, work, marriage, parenting and other daily life issues, and refute the stereotypes about women.
This class not only opened up a new journey, but also told us that feminism is not only about women, but also about everyone's daily life.
