Yu Guangzhong, male, was born in Nanjing on October 21, 1928. He is a Taiwanese poet. His native place is Yangshang Village, Taocheng Town, Yongchun County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province (his mother is from Jiangsu Province, so he also calls himself a "Jiangnan person"). He is currently teaching at Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan. He is a famous contemporary poet and critic.
