Fatty liver disease (abbreviated as fatty liver) is a chronic liver disease caused by excessive fat deposition in the liver, which is related to factors such as family inheritance, lifestyle and metabolic disorders. Fatty liver mainly includes non-alcoholic fatty liver, alcoholic fatty liver and special types of fatty liver. The harm of fatty liver to the human body cannot be underestimated. It can not only cause liver damage such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer and liver failure, but also is closely related to the high incidence of type 2 diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerotic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and extrahepatic malignant tumors. In order to popularize the knowledge of prevention and treatment of fatty liver to the general public, enhance the self-management ability of fatty liver patients, and improve the compliance of long-term treatment and follow-up of fatty liver patients, the fatty liver team of the Central China Regional Traditional Chinese Medicine Liver Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center of the Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, led by Professor Zhao Wenxia, a famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor, compiled this book based on the officially released guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of fatty liver and related diseases, combined with their own clinical experience and experience. About the Author
Zhao Wenxia, second-level professor, doctoral supervisor, expert enjoying special allowance, second-term famous Chinese medicine doctor, fifth-batch Chinese medicine academic inheritance tutor, first batch of Chinese medicine clinical talents, first-batch Chinese medicine college teaching master, and leader of the key discipline of Chinese medicine hepatobiliary disease in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Vice Chairman of the Hepatology Branch of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vice Chairman of the Spleen and Stomach Disease Branch of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has been engaged in clinical teaching and scientific research of spleen, stomach, hepatobiliary disease for 48 years. He has presided over 28 provincial and ministerial projects, published 192 academic papers, and edited and participated in 21 books. He has won 3 invention patents and 8 provincial and ministerial scientific and technological achievements awards. Liu Xiaoyan, chief physician of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, master tutor, hepatobiliary disease consulting expert, top talent in the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine in Henan Province, and academic successor of Professor Zhang Lei, a national master of traditional Chinese medicine.
