Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
In the digital age, electronic devices have occupied most of people's reading time. Paper reading is becoming less and less popular, and people's way of thinking and the way their brain processes information are gradually transforming to adapt to screen reading. As a result, people's reading habits and reading methods are undergoing tremendous changes. This change is silent and subtle, and you may not even notice it, but it has already changed you.
How should we deal with the two reading methods of digital media and traditional media? The next generation has been deeply influenced by digital media since childhood. Will this affect their concentration and ability to read deeply? How should children integrate the deep learning process of the brain to improve concentration and reading ability? How should we read efficiently in the new era? In the author's opinion, the new reading method brings us difficulties and challenges, but also provides opportunities for development. The impact of digital reading is not all negative. On the contrary, the brain that adapts to this reading method will have a strong ability to process complex information, which is something that the brain in the traditional reading mode does not have.
We should neither allow ourselves to be devoured by digital media nor regard electronic devices as a scourge. As long as we master the right coping methods, we can have an efficient reading experience.
