【Content Introduction】
In the late Qing Dynasty, in Hangzhou, the capital of green tea, Hang Jiuzhai, the owner of Wangyou Tea House, was elegant and refined, but not good at managing finances. His son Hang Tianzui grew up in the era of the collapse of the feudal dynasty and the birth of the Republic of China. He was ambitious and talented, but indecisive, and had nothing to rely on in the entanglement of love and hate. The third generation of the Hang family, represented by Hang Jiahe, experienced a broader era. From the May Fourth Movement to the Northern Expedition, they participated in the rise and fall of Chinese tea in various identities and in different ways.
"There Are Good Trees in the South" uses the times as the warp and family and personal destiny as the weft, outlining a long scroll of the ups and downs of the fate of Chinese tea people in modern history.

【Editor's recommendation】
The changes in the late Qing Dynasty, the founding of the Republic of China, the May Fourth Movement, and the Northern Expedition show the fate and choices of individuals in the great history
Feel perfection in an imperfect life, even if it’s only for a cup of tea.

The fragrance of tea, the steam of blood, the collision of hearts, and the entanglement of love are interwoven in the author's clear, gentle, yet restrained writing style; the vicissitudes of the century, the history of Hangzhou, the rise and fall of tea, and the sentiments of tea people all complement and blend into one, showing the author's rigorous and insightful historical knowledge and the ability to describe social phenomena on a large scale, which are particularly rare at present.
