★ Produced by one of the most bizarre and strange shops in the world [DEYROLLE Taxidermy Shop]. DEYROLLE was founded in 1831 and is the only one of its kind in Europe. It enjoys a high reputation and is dedicated to collecting animal and fossil specimens and publishing popular science books.

★When illusion becomes reality, reality becomes illusion. Reality: Each animal has its origin, and the historical materials are well researched; Illusion: The imagination is overflowing, restoring the lifelike appearance of the mysterious animals, and inferring how they reproduce, grow, hunt, build nests, in which area they live, what species they have, and what skills they have based on the literature. Large original hand-painted animal anatomy pictures show the skeleton, muscles, internal organs, horns, claws, feathers, and even whiskers and feces of the mysterious animals, which makes people's imagination wander between truth and falsehood, until people think that they seem to exist, or even do exist.

★ Covers mythological animals from all over the world. More than 40 mysterious animals, over 100 subspecies, classified by dragons and snakes, quadrupeds, winged beasts, sea beasts, half-human beasts, hybrid beasts, covering all monsters in world mythology such as Norse mythology, Greek mythology, African mythology, and Eastern mythology.

★Griffins, tauren, orcs, dwarves... these are the prototypes of many characters in games, movies and TV series such as "World of Warcraft" and "The Lord of the Rings". They are not only a curiosity, but also a window to understand the world's fantasy culture.

★Visual feast. Extra large format [255*370, 8-mo], full color, large hand-drawn illustrations, hardcover.
