Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
This book contains all of Kafka's short stories and novel fragments, as well as "Letter to My Father", which is closely related to his literary writing. Kafka is the founder of Western modernist novels, a genius novelist, and an amazing prophet of the direction of world history. His works directly created a torrent of novels outside of realistic literature. This torrent flows through many brilliant names, or many descendants of his novels, such as Borges, Calvino, Cortázar, and even Peter Handke, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature this year. His literary language and techniques have consciously or unconsciously penetrated into the words of countless later writers. He has been studied by generations of scholars and rewritten by generations of artists and writers. He gave birth to many famous articles by Benjamin, a representative of the Frankfurt School, and gave birth to the literary criticism masterpiece "From Kafka to Kafka" by the French literary criticism master Maurice Blanchot, and the literary criticism masterpiece "Kafka: Or Towards a Minority Literature" by the French postmodern thought master Gilles Deleuze. He has influenced and inspired countless Chinese writers. Can Xue, a Chinese writer who was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature this year and whose works have become best-sellers in China, has used Kafka as a model for his literary writing throughout his life.
