This book is one of the masterpieces of the great Russian writer Dostoyevsky. After he fled in a hurry, Smerdyakov, the illegitimate son of old Karamazov, who was hiding in the dark and pretending to be sick, quietly killed the master, causing a confusing murder that shocked the whole of Russia, which triggered a series of thrilling events. The work shows a complex social family, morality and human tragedy theme, reflecting the highest artistic achievement of the writer's life.
