The Compson family is a famous family in Jefferson Town. Their ancestors once served as governors and generals, but by the time of Jason Compson, they had fallen into decline. The Compsons had three sons and one daughter, but their relationship was not happy. The second daughter, Cam, was willful since childhood and got pregnant before marriage.
