Description

Introduction · · · · · ·
A dialogue between ancient traditional Chinese medicine concepts and modern thinking;

Return to the origin of Chinese medicine and the classics before the Tang and Song dynasties.

From "Huangdi Neijing" and "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" to "Shennong's Herbal Classic" and "Compendium of Materia Medica", explore the essence and key points of traditional Chinese medicine and learn to see the whole person.

This book is written by a Chinese and a Frenchman, communicating in simple English.

This is a dialogue between the ancient traditional Chinese medicine concept and the modern way of thinking. The content always revolves around the essence of Chinese medicine and strives to simplify the complex. Modern Chinese medicine clinics pay too much attention to the disharmonious disease patterns and focus on trying to correct these disharmonious phenomena. However, traditional Chinese medicine practitioners are not just obsessed with the disharmony of the "local", they pay more attention to the whole, because the "local" reveals the "whole", and they grasp the "whole" intuitively.

Only by thoroughly studying ancient classics can we apply the basic principles of traditional Chinese medicine to practice, and not get confused when learning the complicated and seemingly contradictory theories of later generations. In this way, we can formulate appropriate and effective prescriptions based on the rising and falling smells of the medicines according to the patient's constitution, mental constitution, and the reaction of the struggle between the evil and the righteous, rather than mechanically using medicines based on the general functions of the prescriptions in the textbooks.

For a doctor who has gained some understanding, everything is just the beginning.
