About the Author
Ann Hornaday is the chief film critic of The Washington Post. She was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Best Critic in 2008. She was once an assistant to the famous feminist Gloria Steinem (her autobiography On the Road: The Story of My Life was published in China in 2017). In her more than 30 years of working, she has interviewed many well-known figures in the film and television industry, including Ang Lee, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Gary Oldman, Casey Affleck, Tilda Winston, etc. The writing of this book was helped and supported by 32 Oscar winners, including them.
