【Content Introduction】
Michel Foucault is one of the most important philosophers of the 20th century, a famous political activist, social theorist, cultural critic, and creative historian. He has irreversibly shaped the way we think about controversial issues such as power, sexuality, madness, and crime today, and laid the theoretical foundation for multiple disciplines. His critical research continues to inspire many scholars, artists, and political activists.
In How to Read Foucault, Johanna Oksara carefully selects ten key texts around the important themes of Foucault's thought, and interprets and analyzes them in detail, providing a series of clues to help readers move forward and make their own discoveries and understandings of Foucault's thoughts.
