Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
"Something I've Been Meaning to Tell You" is the third novel written by Alice Munro, the winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Literature. It is considered to be a successful transition for Munro after she tried to write a long novel in "The Lives of Girls and Women". Since then, Munro has only been writing short stories. "Something I've Been Meaning to Tell You" is the abnormal love that has been buried in her heart for decades and cannot be confessed, the truth of the love that is very different from what her husband thought, the disgust for her untalented but favored brother, and the recounting of the past after the breakup... The lives of ordinary people have created many stories with depth and tension. In the slow flow of time, waves rise and undercurrents surge.
