Description

Introduction · · · · · ·
Lucie Irigaray is a famous contemporary French philosopher and enjoys a high reputation in the academic circles of France, Britain, the United States and other countries.

This book is one of the author's representative works, exploring the relationship between the nature of love and gender. The author believes that traditional concepts of love often regard love as a means of possession and control rather than a real emotional experience. This concept may lead to inequality and division between the genders, making it impossible for women to become independent individuals. True love should be a mutual, equal and respectful relationship. It should not be based on possession and control, but on mutual understanding and support. Only when we truly understand and respect each other's independence and individuality can we achieve true love. This book provides us with a unique perspective to rethink the relationship between love and gender.

“Towards you, but without encroaching, without possessing, without losing one’s own identity, and at the same time leaving a gap.”
