☆★The Book of Controversy The Book of Anger The Book of Delusion The Book of Reckoning★☆

Fresh recommendations from Wu Qiong, author of "Jacques Lacan : Reading Your Symptoms" and Wang Chenyang, translator of the Chinese version of "Lacan's Biography"

After the epic "Lacan Biography", can this " small biography " bring us a sense of freshness? Can it open a new door for us to understand Lacan and his thoughts?

The third of the three biographies of Lacan by Elizabeth Roudinesco , one of the few French psychoanalytic historians : This is by no means a simplified version of Lacan’s Biography, but a self-contained thought picture book, a highly stylized attempt to write a biography, a Lacanian biography written in Lacan’s style

In the " fragmented " narrative style and " delusional " personal traces, we take you into the " other side " of Lacan and re-recognize the " Real Lacan " that has become the traumatic core of Lacanianism

-Content Introduction-

Is it just an abbreviation and repetition of Lacan's biography?

What made the author make such a " desperate " cry under the guise of Lacan's " name of the father " ?

Is the era of our spiritual life very different from the era of Lacan's death?

In 1993 , Elizabeth Roudinescu , one of the most prominent historians of psychoanalysis in France, devoted the third volume of her History of French Psychoanalysis, Lacan, to the thoughts, works and life of Jacques Lacan . However, this famous biography caused great controversy as soon as it was published ...

On the 30th anniversary of Lacan's death in September 2011 , Roudinescu felt it necessary to summarize the "Lacan Biography": not only to take stock of the legacy of this paradoxical master, but also to respond to and further explain various controversies and criticisms. This is the third of her " Lacan Biography " "Lacan: Regardless of Everything". Not surprisingly, its publication immediately caused a strong response and shock, and it also triggered a unique " headless case " in the history of psychoanalysis .

This book draws a historical outline of Lacan's magnificent life, grasping some important nodes and turning points in Lacan's career so that we can discover what they once looked like and what legacy they have left today.

-Media Recommendation-

Roudinescu takes us on a fascinating journey ... as fascinating as Lacan himself.

——Le Monde, France

This is an extraordinary book about the most dazzling French Freudian of the 20th century.

——The Times, UK

Roudinescu identifies the absurdity of Lacan the man and the grotesqueness of his writing, while also explaining why he is so important.

——The New York Times
