★ Stories save those who listen to them. This is the "One Thousand and One Nights" of this era. This book originated from the audio program of the same name "Watch Ideal". Since its launch, it has been sincerely loved by countless listeners. "When I grow up, I will never have the opportunity to listen to people telling stories like this again." - A beautiful time of listening to stories, a guide for human self-help in the AI era. Luo Yijun, the "gentle and violent bear who can tell stories", tells good stories that are as psychedelic, sentimental, warm and hilarious as creeping plants with rare humor and banter, frankness and tenderness. It is hard to describe and full of mixed feelings. One after another, the radiant stories are like dreams that can be constantly shuttled through, taking us back to the happy time when we first listened to stories. Stories let us know how big the world is, how infinite time is, and how small people are. In the AI era, stories are the last line of defense of human civilization. “We use stories to carry the source of our existence and reflect the face of humanity itself. In the terror, nightmare and sorrow that humans cannot bear, when God abandons us and there is no possibility of salvation, stories often unintentionally redeem us who listen to them.”
★ Novelist Luo Yijun's 40 story writing classes bring together the essence of his life-long storytelling and show 8 million ways to tell a story; they are also 40 classic novel and film appreciation classes, and Luo Yijun's private book list and film list are the most complete. ——A dazzling array of story goods shelves: "2666", "The Three-Body Problem", "Dream of Red Mansions", "Journey to the West", "The Catcher in the Rye", "Too Loud and Loud Solitude", "The Castle of Crossed Fates", "One Hundred Years of Solitude", "Heart", "Family Heirloom", "Unparalleled Legend", "Peony Pavilion", "The End of Love", "Snow Country", "Betrayal", "Perfume", "Ice Wall", "Cinnamon Shop", "The Tongue of the Redeemed", "Other Feet", "Show Mercy", "The Ten Commandments", "Black Mirror", "Blade Runner", "Spirited Away", "Overheard", "Source Code", "Flowers and Alice", "Moomins", "The Kid Who Wants to Be a Bear"... There are not only stories from world classic novels and movies, but also real stories that the novelist has experienced or heard. Luo Yijun uses his unique "story alchemy" to summon memories, weave stories, turn inside out, turn light into shadow, until life is like a dream and a myriad of flowers enter the eye. When you read to the end, you will find that the story is actually time itself.
★ Customers Liang Wendao and Xu Zidong checked in and recommended. In this "Story Convenience Store", we can find our original ears and hearts for listening to stories, and tell our own stories. ——"How broad the scope of life is, how broad the scope of stories is. Luo Yijun's "Story Convenience Store" gives us the infinite inspiration contained in moving stories, as well as the methods of telling these stories. After reading this book, perhaps we can all become people who know how to listen to stories better, or even people who know how to tell stories better. And through listening and telling stories, we can finally understand those things in life and the world that we can't usually understand, and can't usually be expressed in other forms." (Liang Wendao) "Luo Yijun can see stories that others can't see. The same thing, which seems to be one thing to us, is a story when he tells it. This is not just the art of speaking, but more importantly, his keen observation. Luo Yijun has this ability." (Xu Zidong)
