About the Author
Author: Stefan Zweig is a famous Austrian writer, novelist, and biographer. He is good at writing novels, biographies, poetry, drama, essays, and translations. He is known for depicting human inner impulses, such as pride, vanity, jealousy, hatred and other simple emotions, and is very sensational. His novels mostly write about people's subconscious activities and the fate of people driven by passion. His works are good at characterization and psychological portrayal of characters, and he prefers some dramatic plots. However, he does not attempt to attract readers with twists and turns and bizarre plots, but rather highlights people and things that make people linger in the dullness of life.
