◎ Editor's Recommendation

Classic stories for children written by literary masters

Beautifully illustrated version drawn by Chinese and foreign illustrators

☆ Nobel Prize winner and French writer Jean-Paul Le Clézio wrote a rare poetic short story for children, which will lead children into a spiritual kingdom of trees and help them make friends with the trees.

☆ When we follow the boy in the story into the kingdom of trees, we can see the unknown side of the trees: they have their own language, eyes, can listen, and have completely different personalities. The serious oak, the playful birch, the taciturn fir... Each tree is a complete creature, exuding a unique charm and possessing the magical power to soothe people's hearts.

☆ The famous French illustrator Henri Galleron used surreal brushstrokes to depict the fantasy tree country. The pictures are bold and imaginative, showing the magical scene of the tree country at night, which is sometimes quiet and sometimes full of vitality.
