There is no parent who does not try his best for his children, but good wishes may not necessarily bring good results to the children. Since the first edition of this book was published in 1981, Positive Discipline has become the "gold standard" for disciplining children. The book has been translated into 16 languages, with sales of more than 4 million copies in the United States and more than 2 million copies in countries outside the United States. Since the first revision in 1987, it has been revised every 10 years. This book is translated based on the third revised edition of the English original (published in 2006), and the first print run of this edition was more than 700,000 copies. Positive Discipline is a method of disciplining children that is neither punitive nor indulgent... Only in a kind and firm atmosphere can children develop self-discipline, a sense of responsibility, cooperation, and the ability to solve problems by themselves, learn social skills and life skills that will benefit them for life, and achieve good academic results... How to use positive discipline methods to enable children to acquire these abilities is the main content of this book.
