The Ukiyo-e Collection is a collection of paintings depicting the lives, customs and natural scenery of the Japanese people, created by important Japanese ukiyo-e painters represented by Hokusai Katsushika, Utamaro Kitamaro, Uoya Kitakei, Utagawa Hiroshige, Yoshida Hiroshi and Kawase Hasui from the mid-to-late 18th century to the first half of the 20th century. The selected works mainly include Hokusai Katsushika's "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" and Utagawa Hiroshige's "Spring Section" series. Several domestic texts interpreting Japanese ukiyo-e and Japanese painters were selected, including: "Ukiyo-e in Japan" in the "Wakasha Collection" in March 1917; "About Japanese Painters" in the "Art and Literature Magazine" in August 1943; "Ukiyo-e" in the "Kokin" in August 1944, providing context and clues for the continuous evolution and development of the ukiyo-e style.
