About the Author
Ezra Pound (1885-1972)
A pioneer and forerunner of modernist poetry, and the main initiator of the Imagist poetry movement. Pound devoted his life to finding new directions in art, constantly innovating poetry techniques, updating the English poetry language, drawing inspiration from ancient Roman, Italian, and Chinese poetry, and creating world-class poetry. He also discovered and helped modern literary masters such as Eliot, Hemingway, and Joyce, and continued to influence modern European and American poetry and literary circles. In 1968, he won the Bollingen Poetry Prize for his "Pizza Cantos".
Simon
Graduated from the Department of International Journalism of the University of International Relations in 1989. Obtained EMBA from China Europe International Business School in 1997. Published poetry collection Glass Garden: A Collection of Surrealism and photography poetry collection Glass Garden. Published translations Illusion: The Interpretation of Life, Stevens Poetry (co-translated with Shuiqin), Gitanjali, and My Memoirs.
Water Organ
In 1985, he studied for a master's degree in International Relations at the University of International Relations. From 1990 to 1993, he studied for a master's degree in English at Lamar University in the United States. From 1993 to 1996, he studied for a doctorate in comparative literature and literary theory with the highest scholarship at the University of Pennsylvania. After that, he studied philosophy, art history and classical languages at the Graduate School of New York University. He has lived in the United States for a long time. He has written English novels "Floating" and "Heavenly Questions: Dreams of Butterflies and My Thoughts"; his published works include "The Poems of Stevens" (co-translated with Simon), "The Poems of Dylan Thomas", "The Poems of Eliot's Poetics", "Selected Poems of Contemporary British and American Schools", and "Highlighting Yunnan on Seals".
