About the Author
(Japanese) Edited by Tadaaki Imaizumi
Mammalogist, Director of the Japan Institute of Animal Science, and Director of the Cat Museum. Born in Tokyo in 1944, after graduating from Tokyo University of Fisheries (now Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology), he studied mammal taxonomy and ecology at the National Museum of Nature and Science. His major works include "Illustrated Book of Strange Animals" and "Incredible Cats".
(Japanese) Egg Mountain Tamagoe
A cartoonist who loves cats. His favorite cats are the adopted Ton and Shinobu. His works include "My Cat Did Something Weird Again".
Initially he was an illustrator specializing in drawing cats, and later gained popularity through his cat comic blog "My Cat's Funny Antics".
