Keigo Higashino
A famous Japanese writer. Born in Osaka, Japan in 1958, he graduated from Osaka Prefecture University with a degree in electrical engineering. In 1985, he won the 31st Edogawa Ranpo Award and became a professional writer. In 1999, he won the 52nd Japan Mystery Writers Association Award. In 2006, he won the 134th Naoki Prize and the 6th Honkaku Mystery Award. His early works were mostly delicate and meticulous Honkaku mysteries. Later, his style gradually surpassed the framework of traditional mystery novels and became a super best-selling writer in Japan.
