Huang Zhengyu is an expert in financial technology services and cross-border investment, Chairman of Uvo Capital USA, the first White House Scholar from mainland China, a 21st Century Young Leader of the Asia Society, a scholar of the Kauffman Foundation, and former Managing Director of Intel.
Born in Shanghai in 1977, he immigrated to the United States at the age of 10. He received a bachelor's degree in economics, a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, and a master's degree in computer science from Stanford University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. During his seven years at Intel, he led the project cooperation between Intel and the Chinese government.
In 2009, he entered the White House with the authorization of former US President Obama and served as Special Assistant to the Administrator of the Agency for International Development at the US State Department.
After completing his term as a White House scholar, he returned to China to establish several companies including "Yuwo Capital", embarking on a transnational entrepreneurial journey and committed to promoting the global integration of capital, business, technology and culture. His personal works include "Journey to America" and "Lifelong Learning".
