Huang Qifan, MBA, researcher, academic advisor to the China Finance 40 Forum, distinguished professor at Fudan University, and vice chairman of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges.
He was the mayor of Chongqing and vice chairman of the Finance and Economics Committee of the 12th National People's Congress. He served successively as deputy director of the Shanghai Pudong New Area Management Committee, deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and director of the Municipal Committee Research Office, and deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Municipal Government and director of the Economic Committee. In 2001, he was transferred to Chongqing and served as member of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Committee, executive vice mayor, deputy secretary of the Municipal Committee, and mayor for a long time.
Huang Qifan has in-depth theoretical thinking and rich practical experience in the operation mechanism of the economic system and government economic management. He has outstanding economic research ability and profound academic attainments. In recent years, he has published hundreds of articles in various forums, publications, and lectures, and has conducted in-depth research on capital markets, financial risk prevention, industrial structure transformation and upgrading, pillar industry cluster development, digital economy, real estate development, urban and rural land ticket system, and international trade pattern.
