Li Yibing 1912-1991
Originally named Li Zhenhua, he took the pen name "Li Yibing" to mean "a piece of pure heart in a jade pot". He was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, and his native place was Anhui. He graduated from the Department of Economics of Zhejiang Private Zhijiang University, and later studied in the Department of Economics of Meiji University in Japan. He successively published vernacular prose in important new literature journals. Li Yibing was familiar with Su Shi's poems, and at the same time, he sorted out important books such as "Dongpo Shilei" and compiled "Su Shi Chronicle". It took eight years to write "Su Dongpo's New Biography", totaling more than 700,000 words, which was published under a pen name in 1983. He also wrote "The Biography of Zhang Cangshui, a Solitary Minister in the Late Ming Dynasty", which was later supplemented into "The Biography of Zhang Cangshui".
