Description

Introduction
The True History of Tea uses the passage of time as its longitude and the global geographical spread as its latitude to present a vivid picture of the history of tea. It covers the history of Chinese tea drinking and the different ways in which Chinese tea was spread abroad, as well as the history of tea drinking in Eastern countries such as Japan, India, and Ceylon (Sri Lanka), and the trajectory of tea in the Western world. The authors Mei Weiheng and Hao Yelin use a variety of perspectives, including society, religion, culture, history, economy, literature, science, and language, to connect tea-related events of all sizes scattered throughout the long river of history and all corners of the earth, interpreting the true face of tea in human society and telling a true story about tea. Even if you may not accept all of the author's views, you can still expand your horizons and gain information and insights that you may not have noticed.
