Li Juan: female, writer. Born in 1979 in the Seventh Agricultural Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, she moved between Sichuan and Xinjiang during her growing up period, and had a life experience on the Altay pasture. She began to publish her works in 1999, and has opened columns in Southern Weekend and Wenhui Daily. She has published essay collections such as Nine Pieces of Snow, My Altay, Corners of Altay, Singing at Night, Distant Sunflower Field, and non-fiction novels such as Winter Pasture and Sheep Road. She has won the "People's Literature Award", "Shanghai Literature Award", "Tianshan Literature Award", "Zhu Ziqing Prose Award", etc.

Among them, "Distant Sunflower Field" won: 2017 "China Good Book" Award, 2018 Seventh "Lu Xun Literature Award", 2019 Seventh "China Excellent Publications" and other national awards and 2019 Guangdong Province "Five One Project" Award.
