Description
Introduction
This book is a monograph on China by Henry Kissingard, former US Secretary of State and "political evergreen". From the unique perspective of a senior diplomat and thinker, he analyzes and sorts out China's diplomatic traditions since the Opium War, explores the Chinese people's strategic thinking mode from the culture of Go and the Art of War, and especially attempts to reveal the formulation and decision-making mechanism of China's diplomatic strategy since the founding of the People's Republic of China, as well as an in-depth interpretation of the ins and outs of major diplomatic events such as the "one-sided" foreign policy, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, and the three Taiwan Strait crises. As a witness to history, Dr. Kissinger also recorded his interactions with several generations of Chinese leaders such as Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping in the book.
This book reinterprets China's past and future from a global perspective and an international vision. It condenses Dr. Kissinger's strategic theories and decades of research results on China issues. It is destined to become a heavyweight work that will allow the world to understand China and China to re-understand itself!
