Stanley McChrystal:
A four-star general of the U.S. Army, commander of the U.S. military in Afghanistan and the International Security Assistance Force, he has served as director of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and commander of the Joint Special Operations Command. Under his leadership, the Joint Special Operations Command has rapidly risen to become an organization that can carry out small-scale operations (counter-terrorism, anti-violence, rescue, etc.) outside the battlefield in many countries around the world.
