Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
"The Complete Works of Sanmao: Send You a Horse" describes what happened to Sanmao after she returned to Taiwan. In Taiwan, Sanmao lived with her parents, and wrote about the trivialities between her and her parents and relatives. This gives us the opportunity to get close to Sanmao's home and her life. It can be said that Sanmao was busy during this period. In general, her language, without gorgeous words, can let us see a sincere heart, a real Sanmao.

About the Author · · · · · ·
His real name was Chen Maoping, but because he could not learn to write the character "Mao", he changed his name to Chen Ping.
At the age of thirteen, he ran away from home to travel to Xiaoliuqiu. When he was in junior high school, he skipped school and went to a cemetery to read idle books.
Traveling and reading are the two top stars in her life, mixing the happiest and the most painful things in them.
She had no concept of numbers, refused to work for money, and initially wrote purely to make her parents happy.
She saw a photo of the Sahara Desert and felt the homesickness of her past life, so she decided to move there. Jose, who was deeply in love with her, followed her without saying a word.
Then she married Jose in the desert, and wrote a series of prose works that swept countless readers, vividly displaying the wild tenderness of the desert and the vibrant marriage life in front of everyone. The "Sanmao fever" quickly swept the entire Chinese-speaking world from Taiwan and Hong Kong, and "wandering literature" became a cultural phenomenon!
Then, her stable life suddenly took a turn for the worse. She almost gave up her life after the heartbreaking death of her beloved Jose. It was not until she went on a trip to Central and South America that she finally started writing again. She then tried writing scripts and lyrics, and each time she did it, it would touch people's hearts.
In the end, she did not play by the rules again like she did in her childhood, escaped to a faraway place where no one knew, and continued to wander around the world with a free and unruly soul.
She is the most romantic, true-hearted, brave and unrestrained person in our hearts──
Forever Sanmao.
