One Man's Italy Author: Xuyou / Publisher: China Light Industry Press

Xuyou, an illustrator born in the 1990s, recorded his days in Italy with words and illustrations. With a fresh style, he brought people stories from afar and allowed them to experience Italy's natural artistic atmosphere firsthand.

Xu Yu, an independent illustrator and senior lecturer of Nino Art, graduated with a master's degree from the Cartoon Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. He was shortlisted for the Golden Windmill International Young Illustrators Competition and the Beijing International Children's Book Fair twice in 2018 and 2019. His 2019 solo exhibition (salutidallitalia) was held in Bologna, Italy. He has serialized his graphic works in magazines such as Children's Literature, National Geographic, and Traveler. His commercial cooperation organizations include the Palace Museum, Beijing Central Axis Cultural Office, Beijing CYTS Travel Service, Huangyou Camera, etc. He has published picture books such as Unveiling the Twenty-Four Solar Terms, Southern Diary, Ugly Stone, and Far Away.
