The Autobiography of a Yogi (The Book That Jobs Reads Every Day) is a book about the practice of Kriya Yoga by Kriya Yoga Master Yogananda and his understanding of yoga thought. It was first published in 1946. In the book, the author tells his experience from birth to spreading Kriya Yoga in Western countries in a humorous and relaxed style with a series of vivid and interesting real life stories, and writes about the life experience and inner emotional world of an enlightened saint, which is rare in literary history.
This book is different from other versions on the market in two aspects: first, it is the only translation authorized by the Yogananda Foundation, and it is the full translation for the 60th anniversary, a complete version of 300,000 words, and it has been reviewed and revised by the Yogananda Foundation.

Paramahansa Yogananda was born in Gorakhpur, India on January 5, 1893. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Calcutta University in 1915 and formally joined the Sangha in the same year. He moved to the United States in 1920 and began his 30-year career of preaching Buddhism in the West. On March 7, 1952, after delivering a speech at a banquet in Los Angeles, California, in honor of Indian Ambassador HE Binay R. Sen, he entered Nirvana.
