Zhang Ning, winner of the Feng Zikai Children's Picture Book Award, adapted from the eponymous masterpiece by renowned writer Wang Xiaobo,
created this work using traditional Chinese cut-and-sew and appliqué embroidery techniques, drawing inspiration from the vivid and ancient Han Dynasty art style.

About the Author
Zhang Ning, a picture book author, specializes in creating picture books using traditional fabric art. She previously worked as an art editor at Han Sheng magazine, participating in the editing of books such as "Qingming," "Cicheng - Ningbo Rice Cakes," "Guodong Village," and "Yuyuan Village." After becoming a mother, she began to focus on and create picture books.
Her debut work, "The Turtle Family Goes to See the Sea," won the Commended Book Award at the 5th Feng Zikai Children's Picture Book Award, was recommended as one of the "Top 100 Excellent Publications for Young People" by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television in 2017, and was listed among "The 100 Books Teachers Love" by "China Education Daily" in 2017, among many other honors.
