This is a book about the history of modern scientific development that is both easy to understand and fascinating. The author uses a clear and humorous style to write about the many interesting stories that have occurred in the process of the Big Bang to the development of human civilization. The book is composed of surprises and exclamations as well as the vivid things in the world, which helps people understand the infinite mysteries of the world and grasp the development of all things.
Combining major discoveries in the history of science, this book outlines the scientific process of people's understanding of the universe and exploring all things in the form of stories, and reproduces the exciting scenes in the history of scientific development. From the construction of the macroscopic Big Bang theory to the establishment of the microscopic quark particle theory; from the discovery of the law of universal gravitation to the birth of Einstein's theory of relativity; from the formation of Lyell's theory of gradual geological changes to the improvement of plate tectonic theory; from the proposal of Darwin's theory of biological evolution to the implementation of human genetic engineering; from the emergence of glacier theory to the discussion of global warming issues... The author talks about everything, from the past to the present, leading readers into the depths of the universe and bringing them to a broader spiritual realm.
While telling the miracles and achievements of science, this book is also imbued with a strong humanistic concern and profound philosophical thinking. The book gives a precise explanation of the eternal question "Who are we? Where do we come from? Where are we going?" from the perspective of the history of scientific development. After reading this book, everyone will have a new understanding of life, life, and the world we live in. An American reader said that after reading "A Brief History of Everything," he no longer feared death... The author believes that this is the highest praise a book can receive.
