Introduction
How to liberate your body and mind in an age of anxiety? Only by living in the present can you fully experience life, whether it is joyful or painful.

Anxiety is a major feature of our time. People go with the flow, pursuing all kinds of illusory things, but forget their own hearts. The Wisdom of Unrest is a spiritual guide written by American Zen master Alan Watts for anxious people. In this book, Watts uses the wisdom of Zen to explain the nature of anxiety and unrest, and goes straight to the core of the human heart. Watts tells us that the root of all this lies in the split mind, and the most important thing to get rid of anxiety is to have an open heart. This book is both a spiritual self-help book for anxious people and a diagnostic book that has insight into the ills of the times.
