Chi Zijian, female, was born in Mohe in 1964. She started writing in 1983 and has published more than 6 million words of literary works, mainly novels, and has published 100 single-volume books. Her main works include: novels "Manchukuo", "Clearance Beyond the Clouds", "Right Bank of the Ergun River", "White Snow Crow", "Top of the Mountains", "Fireworks", short story collections "Fairy Tales of Arctic Village", "White Snow Cemetery", "Traveling Towards the White Night", "The Flowing River", "Clear Water Washing Dust", "Misty Moon Cowshed", "Moonlight Andante", "All the Nights in the World", and prose and essay collections "The Beauty of Sadness" and "My World Snowed". She has won the 7th Mao Dun Literature Award, the 1st, 2nd and 4th Lu Xun Literature Awards, the Australian "Suspense Sentence Literature Award" and other literary awards. Her works have been translated into English, French, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Dutch, Swedish, Arabic, Thai, Polish, Finnish and other languages.
