"Kyocera Philosophy" Subtitle: The Origin of Life and Management Author: [Japanese] Kazuo Inamori
Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
"Kyocera Philosophy: The Origin of Life and Management" elaborates on Kazuo Inamori's unique philosophy of combining the virtual and the real. The so-called "virtual" refers to Kazuo Inamori's philosophy of life that takes "what is right as a human being?" as the code of conduct; the so-called "real" refers to the management philosophy of using numbers to pursue "maximizing sales and minimizing costs." When running a business, Kazuo Inamori not only uses the correct philosophy of action to achieve fair and aboveboard management, allowing each employee to strive to improve their character and hone their souls; he also uses the digital management of Amoeba management to explore the true meaning of management from the unit time profit table, and then finds ways to achieve "maximizing sales and minimizing costs", and ultimately creates a truly high-profit enterprise.
This book condenses the contents of Kyocera's internal textbook "Kyocera Philosophy Handbook" and is now published in the form of item-by-item explanation. Originally limited to students of Seiwajuku and not passed on to others, this company treasure brings together Kazuo Inamori's wisdom on business and life over the past 80 years. Whether business people or ordinary readers, they can gain energy from Kazuo Inamori's simple and powerful way of life and embark on a path of fulfilling business management and life.
The core content of "Kyocera Philosophy: The Origin of Life and Management" is "What is right as a human being?" Kazuo Inamori believes that if people live their lives with this attitude, everyone will be happy, and if they run their businesses with this principle, their companies will also prosper. Readers who are new to Kazuo Inamori's philosophy may think: "Can such simple things make a business run well?" "Will life become better if we do this?" "Aren't these just old sayings that we have known since childhood?" It is this simple Kyocera philosophy that has led Kazuo Inamori to lead Kyocera and KDDI, the two companies he founded, to join the ranks of the Fortune Global 500, and led many Japanese small and medium-sized companies in the Seiwajuku that were originally poorly managed to turn losses into profits. In just over two years, he brought Japan Airlines, which had a debt of more than 2 trillion yen and went bankrupt, back to life, and even set the highest profit in the history of Japan Airlines in the following year, creating a miracle of V-shaped reversal that shocked the global industry.
