Han Meilin is a famous Chinese art master. He studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts from 1955 to 1960, and taught at the Department of Decoration of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts from 1960 to 1963. He came to Hefei, Anhui in 1963 and worked in the Arts and Crafts Research Office of the Light Industry Department of Anhui Province. During the "Four Cleanups Movement" from 1964 to 1978, he was sent to work in the Huainan Ceramic Factory. From 1978 to 1985, he served as the vice president of the Painting Academy of the Anhui Federation of Literary and Art Circles. He is a national first-class artist and an artist who enjoys special allowances from the State Council. He has worked in Anhui for more than 20 years and is an outstanding art master with a special affection for Anhui.
