Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
Why include these interviews that span almost twenty years? Sometimes, some voices last so long that we don't know whether they are still part of the struggle or have been reconciled. It is true that philosophy is inseparable from anger at the times, but it also brings us peace.
Philosophy is not a kind of power. Religion, the state, capitalism, science, law, public opinion, television are all powers, but philosophy is not. There will be great struggles within philosophy (idealism vs. realism, etc.), but these are all laughable struggles. Because it is not a power, philosophy cannot wage a campaign against those powers, but can only wage a war without a campaign, a guerrilla war against them. Philosophy does not speak to the powers. Philosophy has nothing to say and nothing to communicate with them. It is just speaking. Those powers are not satisfied with being external. They also run through each of us. Therefore, each of us is in a constant voice and guerrilla war with ourselves - this is the use of philosophy.
