Introduction

"Seeing the Song Dynasty in the Fields" is a collection of scholars' thoughts and discussions on historical relics while walking in the field. It is a collection of dozens of essays on the study of Song Dynasty history, edited by Bao Weimin and others. The authors are from Zhejiang University City College, Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, Zhejiang University School of History, Hangzhou Academy of Social Sciences, Hangzhou Normal University, Zhejiang Provincial Museum, East China Normal University and other universities or institutions. Its content involves many fields such as Song Dynasty architecture, humanistic aesthetics, political system, economic development, citizen life, natural scenery, tomb archaeology, etc., covering all aspects of life in the Song Dynasty, reflecting the author's observation perspective combining ancient and modern times and the academic interest of comparing field investigation with documentary records. my country has always had the tradition of "reading thousands of books and traveling thousands of miles".
