BBC Ancient Egypt History Documentary "Life and Death in the Valley of the Kings" Complete Original
A landmark masterpiece that unlocks the secrets of the rise and fall of ancient Egyptian dynasties over 4,000 years
★Content Introduction
Egypt, the greatest civilization in the world, has an ancient story spanning more than 4,000 years of history, which shaped the future of the world. Professor Joan Fletcher, a British authority on ancient Egypt and chief narrator of BBC's ancient Egypt history documentaries, compiled the history of ancient Egypt into a book, telling the story in full, recording the rise and fall of dynasties, and presenting the entire world of the ancient Egyptians in a historical context that each of us can understand.
This book is the representative work of Joan Fletcher. As the original work of the British BBC TV series on ancient Egypt, it has the objectivity and authority of a BBC documentary. The book takes the dynasties of ancient Egypt for more than 4,000 years as the stages, and tells the situation of different dynasties according to the rise and fall of dynasties in time. It restores the life of each generation of emperors and the development of the dynasty based on archaeological objects such as murals, temples, pyramids, etc., as well as various unearthed documents, and records the secular life of the people at that time. The book is divided into 20 chapters according to the dynasties in history, reproducing the thousands of years of history of Egypt before Christ. It is currently the first authoritative work in China that fully explains the history of ancient Egypt.
