● "Natsume's Book of Friends" is a simplified Chinese version of the novel officially authorized by Hakusensha of Japan. On the 10th anniversary of the serialization of "Natsume's Book of Friends", Hakusensha launched a series of planning activities. One of the plans is that "Natsume's Book of Friends" will be adapted into a novel for the first time! It will be written by the screenwriter Sadayuki Murai, who participated in the script creation of the animation "Natsume's Book of Friends" series. He created three stories that have never been publicly released. The original author of the manga, Yuki Midorikawa, liked it very much after reading it, and personally hand-painted the cover and inner page illustrations for this book.

Sadashi Murai, a Japanese screenwriter, was born in Nara Prefecture. In 1993, his work won the 6th Fuji TV Young Screenwriter Award. After that, he created a large number of popular works centered on science fiction and fantasy styles, such as "Natsume's Book of Friends", "Mushishi", "Millennium Actress", "Astro Boy", "Durarara! of the Headless Horseman", and "Cowboy Bebop".
