The genius architect Antoni Gaudi once said: "All the answers are in nature." Nature is the best psychologist. A small flower, a blade of grass, a snail... can bring comfort to people. When you are in a bad mood, go for a walk in the wild.
The author of this book, Emma, suffered from depression for 25 years. One day in 2003, she decided to move from the city to a farm. She walked on the jungle trails in comfortable shoes and immersed herself in the embrace of nature. In this book, Emma recorded her life in the forest for a year, detailing how nature magically affected her emotions and the scientific changes behind it, calling out our instinctive response to things such as branches, leaves, insects and birds. In nature, her depression began to improve, and her life became better and better.
The book contains Emma's beautiful hand-drawn pictures, drawings and photographs, and also shows her mental journey of fighting depression this year. For those who are struggling with low moods or who yearn for and love nature, this book is a magical healing book.

Emma's writing is insightful, her photographs are inspiring, and her illustrations are stunning. This book is as effective and meaningful as Prozac.

A beautiful book that explores the seasons with elegant prose and charming illustrations. It's a diary about nature, but also about how it heals us.
