Synopsis:

[Russia] Marina Stepnova, a Russian writer. Born in Tula, she graduated from the Gorky Literary Institute. She is the author of several best-selling works including "Her Third Life," "Godless Alley," "Dusa's Garden," and "The Surgeon." Her short stories have appeared in literary magazines such as "Novy Mir" and "Zvezda." She has won the Big Book Award and the Readers' Choice Award, was a finalist for the Russian Booker Prize, and has been nominated for numerous awards including the Yasnaya Polyana Literary Award and the All-Russian Bestseller Award.

Zhang Zhengshuo, a Ph.D. candidate in the Russian Department of the School of Foreign Languages at Capital Normal University, a participant in the 35th Advanced Workshop for Young and Middle-Aged Writers (the first class for translators) at Lu Xun Literary Academy, a poet, and a translator of Russian literature. His translations include "The Complete Poetic Works of Gumilyov" and "Nabokov's Selected Poems."
