About the Author
Li Changzhi (1910-1978)
Graduated from Tsinghua University, he studied under famous philosophers Zhang Dongsun, Jin Yuelin and Feng Youlan. He is a famous modern Chinese writer, literary critic and literary historian.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he has been a professor at Beijing Normal University. He has written "Taoist Poet Li Bai and His Pain", "Sima Qian's Personality and Style", "Welcome to China's Renaissance", "Bitter Mist Collection", "Dream Rain Collection", "Biography of Tao Yuanming", "Draft History of Chinese Literature", "Li Bai", etc.
